Wrixo is a medical wristband that that delivers your critical health information with just one tap to the mobile device. It is ideal for elderly friends and family members or for a child with a medical condition, or for those that just want to use it as a personal ID.
No one likes to think of emergencies, but they do happen. Wrixo is designed to help you plan ahead. The low-tech device uses a preprinted QR code or built-in NFC to provide patent health information to doctors, nurses and other emergency responders.
You can upload your full health history history, blood type, prescriptions, emergency contacts, allergies, X-rays, lab reports and even insurance information. Because you control what data gets included, Wrixo is fully HIPAA-compliant.
Durable and waterproof, the band comes in Blue and Pink versions as is rugged enough to withstand daily use and harsh conditions. A tag turns it into a necklace or keychain.

The wristband is now available for preorder starting at $19 on idolmemory.com. The cloud-storage service comes in both free and premium ($6 per month) versions. The company has also launched an Indiegogo campaign that will give a part of the proceeds to the Alzheimer Foundation of America.
