We are just a week away from the annual Wearable Technology Show. Now in its third year, the Show returns to London, ExCel on the 15 and 16th of this month. This is the largest business and consumer show featuring cutting edge technology under one roof. Over 6,000 delegates, 200 speakers and 300 press will come together to exchange views, network and do business.
WTS2016 showcases technologies across a multitude of fields including smart home, healthcare, fashion, fitness, performance sports, enterprise and augmented reality. Co-located with Show will be The Augmented Reality Show, Europe’s largest independent event for AR, VR and development tools.
In the expo hall, visitors will be able to see some of the latest and most innovative products in the Crunchwear Zone, as well as viewing wearable technologies and smart gadgets from some of the biggest names in technology. The Show will be the launch platform for more than 30 companies announcing new products, many of which we have never seen before.
Among the world premieres is the launch of My Zone’s brand new innovative app and a smart clothing range. There are more global firsts in the AR Zone, where Arloopa and Artifact AR will demonstrate new SDK’s for augmented reality devices.
Wearable Life Sciences will be launching their revolutionary Antelope – the world’s first performance enhancing sportswear, as will Spartan Boxers, who have designed a stylish High-Tech Boxer Brief that protects your health and fertility.
Pitpatpet are launching a wearable activity monitor for owners to ensure that their dog gets the exercise it needs. Another activity tracker – though targeted at humans – will come from MIO Global, with the UK launch of their Slice activity tracker.
Ata-Gear Arion, which brings the coaching experience to the world of wearables. Ultra-thin, intelligent insoles slip into the existing shoe, connecting the runner with their running technique, helping them to achieve their goals.
The Wearable Technology Show features nine conference tracks with more than 100 high profile speakers.
