A record 5,000 people are expected to descend this week on ExCeL London for the Wearable Technology Show (WTS). Now in its fourth year, the WTS is largest business and consumer event featuring cutting edge technology under one roof. Visitor numbers rocketed by 26% last year to 4,874. This was up on 3,900 in 2015 and 2,200 in 2014.
WTS 2017 will showcase technologies across a multitude of fields including smart home, healthcare, fashion, fitness, performance sports, enterprise and augmented reality. Co-located with show will be IOT Connect, Augmented Reality Show, Smart Home Show and the brand new Digital Healthcare, where visitors can see the future of healthcare and learn about the latest disruptive technology transforming the medical sector.
A few hundred press will also be there to witness the launch of more than 50 products. This includes cutting edge medical and health technology, the new Moverio BT-350 AR glasses from Epson, Navdy’s augmented driving device, the ‘Netflix for workouts’ from MYZONE, the world’s first contactless payment ring, and the world’s first smart racing helmet. Some 250 speakers and 100 exhibitors will come together this year to network and do business.
