Misfit has launched a new service today. Dubbed Make Your Misfit, it allows you to customize your activity tracker or smartwatch to match your style.
Here’s how it works.
Start off by choosing from the Misfit Ray, Shine 2 or Phase device. You then need to decide on a color before finalizing your selection with a custom strap. As incredible as it may sound, there are some 600 possible combinations which will grow to over 1,000 by the end of the year. You can also go down the route of a ready made design selection.
Misfit will then put your order together and ship out the device. The company has also extended the service to cover its Vapor smartwatch, however the device is still on pre-order and a release date has not been made public yet.

If you think designing your own wearable would be more expensive than purchasing off the shelf, think again. There seems to be no price difference.
Misfit has been around since 2011, but has in this short time become one of the leading wearables brands with its line of sleek and inexpensive activity trackers. The recent acquisition by Fossil has not changed this. Its devices remain some of the best-looking, lowest-maintenance activity trackers.

The service is available in the US and Australia, with a release date for the UK yet to be announced.
