6,000 expected at the Wearable Technology Show in London

Some 6,000 people are expected to descend this week on ExCeL London for the Wearable Technology Show (WTS). Now in its fifth year, the WTS is largest business and consumer event featuring cutting edge technology under one roof. Visitor numbers increased steadily each year and are now well above the 2,200 in 2014.

WTS 2018 will showcase technologies across a multitude of fields including smart home, healthcare, fashion, fitness, performance sports, enterprise, AR/VR and smart textiles. Co-located with show is The Digital Health Technology Show and AVR360.

“The show is a great platform for brands big and small to exhibit the best that smart technology has to offer,” said COO John Weir.

“From start ups to household names, we can expect some exciting products and prototypes to be here. Coupled with our speaker conference programme, delegates can expect to garner insight to some of the latest innovation and how that’s shaping the technology of tomorrow.”

Some 300 press will also be there to witness the launch of more than 20 products. As one of the Show’s official media partners, we will be there reporting on the weird and wonderful gadgets we might all be using in the near future.

Its still not too late to register. The show starts on Tuesday March 13th and finishes the following day.
