The Lifeplus website has removed ANY mention of non-invasive glucose monitoring using PPG-sensors.

Why is that?

Because it is not possible to estimate glucose molecules in blood accurately using LED-lights or IR-sensors through skin. You still need to penetrate the skin to measure blood glucose levels.

I'm afraid this is a THERANOS scam all over again. They will never release a continous non-invasive glucose monitor.

My husband is a diabetic and could really use a product like this to keep better control of his blood sugar levels. When will this be available for purchase and where are they doing the trails on it?

I wish they would do the hardware too. To track this: diabetes, cardiac arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, COPD, sleep apnea and hypertension. Sign me up for two watches, maybe three! No one wants to put the hardware through the FDA because by the time that bureaucracy gets done approving the hardware, technology has marched forward. I hope the smart watch companies don't implement one tracking ability, wait a year, implement another. I am excited for this release! CGM diabetes monitoring is not current and not really innovative, affordable, or non-obtrusive like this! We are all waiting for someone to use the smartwatch sensors to their highest capability.
