Amazon cuts prices on Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Charge 3

Fitbit smartwatches and fitness trackers are great options if you’re after something to track your activity around the clock. The company has lots of wearables under its belt but if you are looking for the best that it has to offer, look no further than the Versa and Charge 3. You won’t go wrong with either of them.

Amazon is currently offering discounts to sweeten the deal on both of them. These equal the lowest prices we’ve seen so far. How long the sale will last, we’re not exactly sure.

Fitbit Versa

Versa is our pick for as the best fitness watch you can buy right now. It comes with everything you would expect from a Fitbit device, along with capturing real-time stats on 20 different types of activities. And you are able to keep tabs on all this in real-time on the gorgeous hi-res 300 by 300 pixel LCD touchscreen.

Admittedly there is the lack of built-in GPS (in favor of Connected GPS), but you are unlikely to notice this unless you are an avid runner. This also helps keep the price down.

In our review, we note that the the watch is simple to use and comes with most things the average person would want from a fitness device. With a battery life of 5 days, this is a stylish wearable which represents a great compromise between a fully fledged smartwatch and fitness tracker.

There are three iterations to choose from including Versa, Versa Special Edition and Versa Lite. Amazon has cut prices on all three of them.

The difference between the first and second is the inclusion of NFC on Special Edition. Versa Lite is the budget version and lacks on-board storage for music, an altimeter for counting floors, NFC and swim tracking.

Charge 3

Despite being over a year old, Charge 3 is our pick as the best fitness tracker you can buy today. You can check out our full review on this link.

This is a sleek looking device which comes with a great software ecosystem. You’ll find pretty much everything you need for 24/7 activity monitoring, and the device will link to the GPS on your smartphone to provide more precise data on pace and distance when you’re running.

And let’s not forget the smart features. These have progressed so much that they are starting to blend the line between fitness tracker and smartwatch. Charge 3 comes with call, calendar, text and smartphone app notifications, plus there a a host of Fitbit and third-party apps. For an additional $20, you can slap on Fitbit Pay as well.
