Just over a month to go now before Black Friday 2019, one of the biggest shopping events of the year. As always, it falls the day after Thanksgiving. Which in 2019 is on November 29th.

It becomes pretty hectic for retailers around that time of the year. In a sense, Black Friday marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season – a time to get gifts for loved ones and yourself.
The shopping event originally started in the US but its spread now to other countries, too. Most big retailers will offer discounts including Amazon, Best Buy, Wallmart, Argos and others. To help you save a few bucks, just like in the previous years we will scour the listings in the run-up to the big day.
If previous years are anything to go by, manufacturers will offer savings on pretty much their entire ranges of fitness trackers and smartwatches. The deals will fall on that weekend and also Cyber Monday on 2nd of December. You’ll also see early deals, but the majority of them will be available on the actual day.
Amazon typically runs a countdown to the event that offers savings on some items. A few of these deals will be reserved only for those that have a Prime membership (register here). If you don’t, time your registration for the free one month trial appropriately. If you don’t want to keep the membership simply cancel before the month is up and you won’t be charged a penny.
In the past people had to queue for hours to take advantage of the savings. It was not uncommon to see fights breaking out! Do a search on youtube for examples. But now much of it has moved online, which means you can start ticking things off your Christmas shopping list from the comfort of your home.
The beginning of a New Year is a time when many of us pledge to become fitter and healthier versions of ourselves. A fitness tracker or smartwatch can help with this. The choice has never been wider. Anything from budget fitness trackers that can be picked up for $20-$30 dollars, the fully featured sports watches with solar charging that sell for $1,000+.
Samsung Black Friday 2019
So let’s look at Samsung. The company offers consumers devices such as smartwatches and activity trackers, as well as their Tizen open-source operating system.
The most recent addition to its range of wearables is the Galaxy Watch 2. It takes across all the fitness tracking smarts of its predecessor but improves on the heart rate sensor. ECG reading functionality will also be enabled at some point in the future.
The trademark bezel has not made a return. But you are now able to navigate the watch thanks to an even slicker solution. The black border that surrounds the screen functions as a touch sensitive strip. There are also multiple size options to choose from as well as an LTE variant.
The company’s range also offers Galaxy Watch as well as a line of older devices. In terms of fitness trackers the newest devices are the Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit-e. Both were released at the start of the year. You can bet, come the end of November, most of these will be offered at some of the best prices we’ve seen so far.
I can’t be bothered to wait for Black Friday 2019. Are there any deals available now?
Of course. Here are savings that can be had on Amazon right now.
We’ll keep this list updated and let you know when any great deals come up both in the run-up and during Black Friday 2019 and Cyber Monday.
