It looks like it will be weakest flagship Forerunner launch ever and it definitely means that we will not see 955 anytime soon. It is result of weakened competition in the sports smartwatch market. After Garmin acquired Firstbeat and very weak Polar hardware updates (and announcement of even weaker software updates scheduled) no competition left in the sports watch market. No competition means no innovations and no new models. The only hope is Coros, at this time it is the only company which could challenge Garmin domination in the market.
