Apple is gearing up to launch its next Activity Challenge. This one is set to land on November 11th to honor Veterans Day. This is not the first time the Cupertino outfit has run this challenge.

The occasion is an annual United States public holiday that celebrates the service of persons who served in the United States Armed Forces. It coincides with other holidays, including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, celebrated in other countries to mark the anniversary of the end of the first World War.
As first reported by Macrumours, on the big day users will need to do any workout that’s recorded through the Workout app, lasting 11 minutes or more. This will earn them a special Veterans Day-themed badge that will show up in the Activity app. The reward is only redeemable on November 11th so make sure you mark that date in your calendar.

Apple’s last activity challenge was on August 28th, to celebrate National Parks Day around the globe. That task required users to do a walk, run, hike or wheelchair workout of at least 1 mile.
Before that we saw the International Yoga Day Challenge. It required Apple Watch owners to complete a yoga workout lasting 20 minutes or more on June 21st. Prior to that we saw the International Dance Day challenge on April 29th.
It is good to see Apple back on track as far as activity challenges. The company had stopped issuing them for a while due to the coronavirus pandemic and measures around the world that restricted movement. Now that the strictest of restrictions have been lifted in most countries, these activity challenges can serve as a nice motivator to get people out and about.
