Garmin Black Friday 2022

While some wearable manufacturers have been struggling, Garmin has been going from strength to strength. Its success lies in the quality and wide range of fitness and sports gear. The company has grown quite a bit since it was established in the not too distant 1989. Its first product was a GPS unit which sold for $2,500. Thankfully, prices have come down quite a bit since then!

The company’s wearables strategy is centered on purpose-built devices for consumers who want to measure and enhance their active lifestyle pursuits, whether it’s running, cycling, swimming, golfing, walking, or simply being more active. As far as sports watches go, whether you’re into snorkeling, skiing, triathlon running, Garmin has a device for you.

This year we saw a plethora of new wearables. This includes the Forerunner 255, Forerunner 955, Instinct Crossover, Enduro 2 and a few others at the start of the year. Some of these are seeing their first discounts ever right now.

Which means you do not need to wait for Black Friday to save on a Garmin fitness tracker or sports watch. Amazon and the Garmin website are already running promotions. Prices on some of these devices are hitting record lows.

Here’s our list of the best deals that are currently on offer. These prices are valid for a limited time and some apply to select colours and models. We will aim to keep this page up to date in the coming days so keep checking back for additional savings.

Fitness trackers

For the average person who does the occasional run, cycle or swim, the Vivoactive 4 is still a great choice. It comes with pretty much everything they will need to track their activity and there’s an option with built-in storage for music, too. The other option is to go for Venu 2. It packs a similar set of specs but with a high-quality AMOLED display.

But if you’re after something more discreet and in the form of a fitness band, our suggestion would be to opt for the Vivosmart 5. In addition to the usual smarts these devices have a Pulse Ox sensor and some metrics that are Garmin specific.

Vivoactive 4/4S – $179.77 (down from $349.99)
Venu Sq series – $119.99 (down from $199.99)
