Founded and managed by James Park and Eric Friedman, the company is known for its products of the same name, which are activity trackers, wireless-enabled wearable technology devices. Fitbit has an extensive presence in the US and abroad and is one of the global leaders in fitness tracker sales. In 2021 the company was acquired and is now a part of Google.
