Jawbone is an American privately held consumer technology and wearable products company headquartered in San Francisco, California. After the popular Jambox line of wireless speakers, it moved into health-tracking wearables with the launch of UP in 2011. In 2018 Jawbone rebranded under the name Jawbone Health. Some $65 million was raised to get the outfit going. Instead of consumer wearables the company now focuses on providing a medical subscription service for remote patient monitoring.
