Garmin specs list CIRQA 8.7 mm thick, while Venu X1 is a claimed 7.9 mm thick and has the Elevate 5 sensor “under a display”… They gotta be kidding… Disappointing. Old sensor yet again!

To comment about the others. This is a G-Shock watch not a smart/dumb watch. Do your research about G-shock’s. Dependable, sometimes a little larger and more aggressive than your ordinary watch, built for toughness, etc. I have had G-shock’s since 1995, I presently have 6 different models, 5 solar and 1 battery. Tried an Apple watch for a year, but not as durable and tough as a G-shock.

The article stated that they were still delivering rings in 2025. Actually many of us didn’t get them until 2026. I got mine at the end of Jan 2026. It worked well for 3 months. Since May, I have to charge the case twice to get the ring fully charged once (about a 5 hour process) and then the ring battery will last about 3.5 hours before it’s completely dead. Many seem to still be waiting for responses from support about missing or non-functioning rings or refunds. Payment by ring never worked in the US for anyone. They have a long way to go….
