Comment on Polar rolls out huge 6.0.18 update to six watches by Gabor

Gabor — Thu, 01 Oct 2026 12:46:42 +0000

After the update, the map has disappeared from workouts opened via the weekly training view. What I don’t understand is why the watch doesn’t support syncing with the Polar scale, given that it is possible to track weight changes.

Comment on Apple faces lawsuit over watchOS 27 compatibility cutoff by MarkBooker

MarkBooker — Fri, 25 Sep 2026 19:14:48 +0000

Why should should anyone continue to buy Apple watches with a $600 to $800+ premium price tag if your only going to get a 3-4-5 years of intended use out of it. especially when you can but a Garmin (comparable price) with a longer running battery life (days longer) and many comparable features. Seriously, if once this watch is longer compatible I will not buy another unless give me at least 60% of the purchase price in trade-in $$. The average person would not buy a Premium watch for its functionality if that watch was only expected to be fully functional for 3-4-5 years. especially when there are other options available.

I’ve been experiencing similar battery drain issues with my Oura Ring lately. It’s frustrating because I rely on it for tracking my sleep and activity. I hope they address this in future updates. Has anyone found any tips to extend battery life in the meantime?

Comment on Custom foods are back in Google Health, but Fitbit users still want more by Robert

Robert — Wed, 16 Sep 2026 23:16:50 +0000

Not only does it not save new custom foods past the current app session, but it seems to be topped out at 100 entries carried over from the fitbit app. I have accumulated a lot more than that over 11 years of fitbit use.
