Just like in previous years, apart from keeping you fit, the aim of the challenge is to raise awareness of heart disease. As you may know, February is American Heart Month. This is a federally designated event to educate on the importance of cardiovascular health, including coronary heart disease and stroke.
The rules will be the same as last year, but the reward features some new animating stickers. To successfully complete the task, users will need to close their watch’s green exercise ring for seven days in a row between February 8th and 14th – Valentine’s Day.
Customers can use any fitness app that works with HealthKit to complete the task. They’ll be rewarded with animating stickers that can be shared via the Messages app or on FaceTime.
This is how Apple describes the challenge.
“Earning this award takes heart! Close your Exercise ring seven days in a row starting February 8 and ending February 14.”
Some Apple Watch challenges are limited to certain countries but this one will be available to all. Users should get an alert on February 7th.
