IOFIT: Smart shoes that help golfers improve their game
With wearable technology breaking into so many aspects of our lives, it was only a matter of time before it found its way into golf. There are many wearable devices hitting the market now for all manner of niches, from GPS trackers to swing analyzers.
IOFIT golf shoes are the newest high-tech product set to hit the market soon. These crowdfunded smart shoes aim to help you improve your game by measuring your balance and weight when swinging. To do this, they use extremely thin waterproof pressure sensors embedded in the outsole, and wirelessly transfer the data to your smartphone using Bluetooth.

IOFIT gives you access to invisible data only professional golfers and coaches have had access to so far. This includes metics such as your pressure distribution, CoP (Center of Pressure), left/right balance, and front/back balance in real-time.
Confused on what all of this means? We certainly are. To help you make sense of the data, IOFIT will do the hard work for you and let you know what mistakes you are making. It could be something as simple as leaning forward too much to transitioning your weight too late at the impact.
There is also a social aspect to the experience. Why not challenge and compete with your friends and let IOFIT decide who has the best swing?
