Bushnell unveils new Excel Golf GPS Watch

There are many golf wearables hitting the market now for all manner of niches. The latest comes from Bushnell Golf, one of the leaders in high-performance sports optics.

The company’s Excel Golf GPS Watch comes preloaded with over 35,000 courses in 30 countries. Bluetooth integration with smartphone and a new and improved smartphone app, means you can get course updates without needing to sync to a computer. The app allows the golfer to book tee times, pay, confirm and set tee time notification all from your smartphone.

The Excel has an optical mounted colour display that shows front, back and center distances as well as up to four hazard distances per hole. There is even an option for 3D course flyovers to give you a birds-eye view. The display adjusts brightness automatically, while the Swing Pro function allows players to monitor their swing speed and tempo.

“With the ever-changing needs in wearable technology, we created our most advanced, user-friendly GPS Watch, providing golfers the ability to enhance their game at an affordable price.”

You will also find a shot distance calculator and an integrated pedometer so you can keep track on your fitness. Smartphone notifications show up directly on the device including calls, messages and calendar.

Finally, the improved battery life means the watch can keep going over three rounds.
