Snapchat Spectacles finally available on Amazon
Mainly sold through vending machines and directly on the manufacturer’s website, Snapchat Spectacles are finally available for purchase on Amazon. Now it should be much easier to get your hands on them. No more waiting in hour-long lines, or forking over extraordinary amounts of cash to buy them second-hand.

Launched last year, what you essentially get are sunglasses for kids with an integrated video camera. By tapping a button on the top left-hand corner of the glasses, the recording mode is activated and 10 seconds of video is captured. A second tap activates 30 seconds of continuous video recording.
The information is then sent directly to Snapchat via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. What sets Spectacles’ footage apart is that it captures the human perspective with a 115 degree field of view that resembles the human eye’s natural field of view.
Its most recent update addresses one of the biggest complaints. A new Multi-Snap recording feature allows users to record longer videos – well, sort of. If you continually hold the capture button, you can now record six 10-second clips in a row continuously. These can then be decorated in one go with Snapchat’s built-in creative tools and filters.
All three colors,Black, Teal and Coral, and are available for $129.99 on Amazon. We’ll see how long stocks last.
