Adore: AI powered smart scale that visualizes your health
Adore is a relatively inexpensive AI powered smart scale that measures all your vital stats and gives you personalized tips on how to boost your health.
Smart scales connect wirelessly to your smartphone, tablet or computer. Step on one of these, and your weight data will automatically find its way to a corresponding app on your mobile device or a Web dashboard. Using the app or dashboard, you can then track your progress over time.

Developed by marathon runners and doctors, the Adore smart scale provides all this and more. You’ll get stats on weight, visceral fat, muscle mass, BMI, body fat, protein, bone density, body water and BMR. This is certainly a very comprehensive list. But as mentioned in our other articles, while smart scales are good at measuring weight, most are not totally accurate when it came to measuring these other more advanced metrics. So while they are useful as an indicator, you should take them with a pinch of salt.
The main novelty for this type of device, however, are the AI algorithms which take your readings and pit them against your goals and profile. Based on this, the scale will send you health reminders throughout the day (for example “drink more water” or tips on how to improve your bone density), and real-time coaching and recommendations on the type of activity or training you should engage in to achieve your goals.
Finally, you’ll also get a easy to understand personalized health score (that ranges from zero to 100), along with a demographic grade (that ranges from A to F). There is, of course, a social aspect to all of this and you can chat with your friends or specialists through the app and get support.
With a couple of weeks to go in the campaign, Adore has achieved twice its goal. Backers can expect to receive their device at the end of this year.
