After two years of research and development, Korean based Watoom are launching a smartwatch diving computer called CYANO.
The stylish deice offers all the functions you would ever need when diving. This includes a diving log, water depth, water temperature, no-decompression limit, ascent rate, present time and stopwatch. There is also a compass, something you do not see often on basic dive computers. When you are out of the water, connect via Bluetooth to see you data in detail on the accompanying smartphone app.
Constructed with high quality SUS316L Stainless Steel and silicone, the Apple Watch lookalike also functions as your everyday watch. You can even replace its bands with original 24mm Apple bands.

CYANO works with a wireless charging dock, and any wireless charger on the market will do. Battery life is up to 10 hours in diving mode, more than 48 hours in watch mode and around 15 days in standby mode.
With its compact design and stylish looks, this is a device that may appeal to young divers. Users have various customization options including 16 watch faces and four different bands. There are also various clip and pendant attachments.
CYANO has already made appearances at dive and leisure shows across Asia and the US. The company has now turned to Kickstarter to fund production, and seems to be doing well with its campaign. Delivery to backers is expected in May next year.
