These two are not the first wearables by the American luxury fashion company. It has a range of connected devices including the Access Bradshaw, Access Dylan and Access Hybrid. It also entered the fitness tracker space with its Access Crosby activity band a couple of years ago.

The sleek and feminine Access Sofie (view on Amazon) now comes in four new designs. This includes a rose-gold and two-tone option, along with a brilliant sky blue and a white silicone-wrapped one.

Like most of Fossil’s range the smartwatch runs on Android Wear 2.0 and comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage. You get basic fitness tracking, Google Assistant, notifications and lots of customization options.

The more masculine Grayson (view on Amazon) also comes in a few new options. These include a silver-tone, black and dark green design. Sporting similar specs under the hood, the Grayson is the larger of the two with a 47mm case-size (versus Sofie’s 42mm) and 1.39-inch (versus 1.31-inch) touchscreen display.

Michael Kors has also unveiled a new chatbot which is accessible through Facebook’s Messenger and Google Assistant. For now it is only available on the Access Sofie smartwatch. The new software guides users through smartwatch features, functionalities and also helps with troubleshooting.

The accompanying smartphone app is also benefitting from a refresh. It now comes with a My Next function that appears in the sub-eye on the dial. This is essentially a countdown to important events utility, that comes with nifty icons such as wedding rings, birthday cakes and more. You can check out the My Next feature in the video below.
