The interior of your car may seem like a safe haven from air pollution, but that’s not the case. The Roidmi P8S is a new type of air purifier designed to solve this problem. It comes equipped with an integrated nanoscale filter and powerful centrifugal fan that can quickly and throughly purify the air inside your vehicle.

While most of us are aware of pollution in big cities, there is the false feeling of being in a safe haven while in your car. Being inside does offer some protection to particulate matter and dust, but it does not offer protection from exhaust fumes from cars around you. Your air conditioning does not remove this – it brings it into your car!

Roidmi P8S is a bluetooth enabled car air purifier that remove allergens, dust, micro particles, bacteria and lingering odor such as smoke and formaldehyde. It fits on the rear seat of a car, turning on when you start the engine. From there, it sucks in air and pushes it through three layers: a steel mesh filter, a HEPA filter, and a “nanoscale carbon filter”.

The manufacturer says P8S can clean the air inside of your car in only 2 minutes making it the world’s fastest and highest-performance smart car air purifier. Plus, the whole thing is virtually noise free at the lower of its two speed settings.

The gizmo is so quick because it comes equipped with dual centrifugal fans that clean air at a delivery rate (CADR) of up to 70m3/h. Its four independent air ducts distribute purified air to every corner of your car.

Unlike most of its competition P8S has laser detection with an LED display which shows the air condition in real-time. This can also be viewed on the accompanying smartphone app which allows you to control P8S remotely and know when the filter needs changing.

With 12 days remaining, the Indiegogo campaign to make the air purifier a reality is three times above its $10,000 goal. The wait should not be too long. Delivery to backers is set for February 2019.
