It is important to maintain good form when you are squatting so that your knees stay healthy and your legs strong. But doing this exercise correctly is not simple. A new Indiegogo campaign for the world’s first intelligent squat machine aims to change this.

Wonder Squat’s patented Resistance works with gravity and your bodyweight. The machine makes you sit slowly while providing the force necessary for the push to stand up. The smart squat machine also makes sure your feet are positioned at 90 degrees with your legs at all times. This helps to prevent injuries and maintain good form. Additionally, you can also use the Wonder Squat for a wider range of functional exercises such as pushups and dips.

As you’d expect, the thing comes with an accompanying smartphone app. This will record your daily exercises effort and chart your progress. It also has a range of instructional videos and  a 100 days exercise plan.

If you want to workout in your home or office, Wondersquat is going for around $120 (£91) on Indiegogo. Backers can expect to receive their machine in time to get toned for this summer.
