Movado Connect 2.0 comes in 15 distinct styles for men and women
Movado has unveiled today the second generation of its Wear OS Connect smartwatch. Once again we get the simple, clean design, but this time with much better specs.

The original Movado Connect was unveiled back in 2017. It is a watch built for fans of the stylish yet minimalist look.
The company has now officially announced Version 2.0. It comes packing the Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
Fitness tracking smarts have also received a boost. There’s now a heart rate sensor on the back, an obvious omission from the previous generation.
Other than that, you get all the features of the original. This includes notifications (for phone calls, appointments, emails, appointments and social media messages), Google Fit (for monitoring your steps, distance, calories, heart rate and more), Google Assistant, apps and music. The watch is also NFC enabled for Google Pay.
Like so many recent smartwatches, Movado Connect comes in two size options. One for larger wrists measuring 42mm, and a smaller 40mm size. In total, there are 15 distinct designs to choose from for both men and women. With over 100 customizable dial variations and various strap options, you are sure to find a combination that suits your taste.
Alongside the righthand side of the watch you’ll find three physical buttons. This includes a rotating digital crown and two buttons you can customize.
Battery life is around a day. Movado says can be extended up to 4 days by tweaking the power settings. These probably consist of turning off the always-on AMOLED display option.

The Movado Connect 2.0 is available on movado.com for delivery in October. Prices start at $495 and go up from there depending on the design chosen.
