It is getting more and more complicated to make sense of the crowded wearable tech specs. Gone are the days when you had a choice between a select few providers. Now there’s a maze of devices on offer, from those that cost a handful of dollars to those that top the $1000 mark.
You could say we are spoiled for choice. And it is only going to get better from here. In the next few years fitness trackers and smartwatches will track our blood pressure around the clock, glucose, hydration and much, much more. It might sound incredible but a wearable that costs around $20-30 today would have been hard to imagine only a decade ago.

To help you decide on a device that is right for you, we’ve pulled together a database of some of the most popular wearables on offer. You can access it either via the Brands page or the Compare Tool page. The tool allows you to filter and compare devices within a brand and across different brands.
Simply choose a few that interest you by ticking the Add to Compare box next to the wearable of your choice. Select as many as you like. When you are ready to view the comparison tap on Compare Now button that is located in the hideaway panel on the right-hand side of the display.
Below is an example of what a typical comparison looks like. It is only a partial view – the comparison extends to cover the full technical specs of the device. Everything from the characteristics of the hardware (such as display, water-resistance, dimensions, weight, battery life, etc), to the color choices available, health and fitness metrics that are tracked, smart functionality and more.
We will do our best to keep this list as accurate as possible. Having said that we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy – you should double-check the specs on the manufacturer’s website before making a purchase. In time we will also add new brands and other devices to this list.
