OnePlus Watch Harry Potter edition launched in India

OnePlus has launched in partnership with Warner Bros Consumer Products (WBCP) a OnePlus Watch Harry Potter limited edition in India. The device comes with a number of themed watch faces and some design enhancements.

Mind you, all the headline features of the original version are there. Launched back in March, its predecessor comes with a 1.39-inch OLED panel inside a 46mm case, built-in GPS, an optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitor, 5 ATM water resistance and more. You can even store 500 songs on it.

As far as battery life, it comes in at around a week between charges. This is thanks to a lightweight proprietary RTOS (real-time operating system) rather than WearOS.

OnePlus Watch is the company’s first timepiece ever – and not a bad effort at that. A Cobalt Limited edition model followed a few months later.

OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Edition: what’s new

The latest iteration is dubbed OnePlus Watch Harry Potter Edition. The device was actually teased at the Spring launch event. What’s more, a mention of it was uncovered later on in the OnePlus Health app APK code.

The limited edition watch comes with a vegan leather band embossed with the Hogwarts crestin in the middle. In the world of Harry Potter, this is the Wizarding school that is located in the Scottish Highlands. There are also gold accents on the device and Harry’s scar is carved on the device’s secondary button.

The top of the watch is hand polished with specially treated curved glass. That sits above a display capable of showing a number of Harry Poter-themed watch faces. You can see some of them below. This includes themes such as Hogwarts, Hogwarts Seal, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.

OnePlus Watch Harry Potter edition retails for Rs 16,999 and availability starts on October 20th in India. The thing arrives in a smart collectors box. Taking into consideration the global popularity with everything-Potter, we would be surprised if the release is limited to just one country.
