Prices revealed ahead of Garmin Fenix 7, 7S, 7x and Epix 2 launch
Following recent leaks featuring tech specs and images of Garmin Fenix 7, 7S, 7x and Epix 2, new information has emerged on the prices of most upcoming models. The watches are expected to launch next Tuesday, January 18th.
Most of what there is to know about Garmin’s upcoming Fenix line is already out there in the wild. A plethora of leaks and images have made their way around the internet in recent weeks. None have shown themselves to be entirely accurate, but there’s been enough info to piece together what reasonably to expect. There’ve also even been a few retailers that have jumped the gun but they’ve been quick to take down the product pages.
The latest info that has emerged is to do with European prices of six Fenix 7 models as well as Garmin Epix 2. These come from Techinsider via Twitter.

Most likely there will not be a pro model of Fenix 7. Comparing the prices of Garmin Fenix 7 and 6, it looks like pro model features will come built into Fenix 7. So all models will have maps, WiFi and music.
The new watches won’t be cheap, but those who buy the Garmin Fenix line know exactly why they are worth the money! There will reportedly be sapphire and non-sapphire models. However, the leaked pricing only shows non-sapphire model prices. The sapphire option should add an extra 100 Euros or so. We are also expecting titanium models.
An anomaly in the table below is to do with the price for a non-solar 7X. Other leaks have indicated that there is no such model. So as always, take all of this as what it is – an unconfirmed rumour.

The Fenix 7 models will come with pretty much the same physical form factor as Fenix 6. There will be differences in weight and thickness and a few design tweaks. No digital crown as previously speculated, but one of the physical buttons has received a revamp. We are yet to learn what the new button will be able to do.
There was also talk that Fenix 7 and Epix 2 will come with ECG. However, this information comes from a single source. None of the leaked retailer listings or other sources make a mention of this so we are not expecting this type of functionality. At least not yet. It is possible it might be enabled at a later stage – or more likely the ECG will debut on the next Garmin Vivoactive or Venu watch.
Battery life has received a boost, and the solar models will reportedly be able to make better use of the sun’s rays. All models will have touch displays. Although sources say this may not come to the solar watches. So it is possible you might have to choose between a touchscreen or solar but not both.
We are expecting Garmin Fenix 7 and Epix 2 to officially launch on January 18th. Media invites have gone out for some regional sites that mention an “international announcement and launch event”.
