Black Shark’s first smart ring debuts on

Black Shark, the gaming-focused arm of Xiaomi, is venturing into the wearable market with the launch of its first smart ring, the Black Shart Ring. As of today, this sleek device is available for purchase on, a leading Chinese e-commerce platform. Priced at ¥599, the Black Shart Ring aims to help you track your health and interact with your smartphone.

Uncompromising health focus

Crafted from medical-grade antibacterial metal, the Black Shart Ring exudes a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. Remarkably thin at only 2.2 mm, and impressively lightweight at just 4.4 – 5.4 grams (depending on size), it boasts a comfortable, non-intrusive design.

Those interested can choose from the sophisticated Moonlight Silver or the striking Blazing Night Black and Red colour-ways – each featuring a distinctive black line that bisects the ring. The first batch will be only “Moonlight Silver” color, with others to follow.

With various sizes available, you’re sure to find the perfect fit. The product description specifies 5 different size options.

The Black Shart Ring places health and wellness at the forefront. It offers comprehensive monitoring that includes heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, HRV (heart rate variability), and body temperature. Moreover, it carefully tracks your sleep patterns, providing data on sleep stages, duration, and resting heart rate to help you improve your sleep quality.

Additionally, the ring’s physiological cycle management feature is designed specifically for women, assisting in accurately tracking and predicting menstrual cycles.

Black Shark app

Despite its compact form, the Black Shart Ring delivers an impressive battery life. On a single charge, expect 4-6 days of continuous use. And with the included charging case, the total battery life extends to a remarkable 180 days, minimizing the need for frequent recharging.

Smart features for seamless control

It’s fair to say, as far as health and fitness features and design, there isn’t really very much that is innovative about this smart ring offering. We’ve seen this type of functionality in many other devices.

Where the ring starts to differ is in its smart features. Black Shark ring comes with Smart Touch technology for device control. With simple slide and long-press gestures, you can refresh short videos, switch presentation slides, remotely control your phone’s camera, and much more.

The “one-click Rubik’s Cube” function takes convenience to the next level. With a single click, the ring automates various phone tasks, such as launching frequently used apps, interacting with incoming calls, or broadcasting voice commands. While currently optimized for Black Shark gaming phones, compatibility with other major smartphone brands is in development.
