High blood pressure is a serious medical condition that can lead to heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. It is important to monitor your blood pressure regularly, especially if you are at risk for high blood pressure. But let’s face it, most of us don’t take time to do this. This is why many people are unaware they suffer from high blood pressure. In fact, it is sometimes referred to as the silent killer.

There are many different ways to monitor your blood pressure. Of course, the one we all know about are traditional blood pressure monitors, The next step up from that are smart blood pressure monitors, such as those that come from French brand Withings. However, the future is wearable and a few solutions that monitor blood pressure from your wrist are appearing.
What is the YHE BP Doctor Fit Gen 3?
The YHE BP Doctor Fit Gen 3 is one such device. It is a smartwatch that integrates a blood pressure monitor, heart rate monitor, activity tracker, sleep tracker, and more. The device is designed to be a health companion, empowering users with valuable insights into their well-being.
The smartwatch utilizes oscillometric technology, a non-invasive method, to measure blood pressure. This involves inflating a cuff within the watch to temporarily restrict blood flow and analyze the resulting pressure fluctuations. The data collected is then processed by advanced algorithms to provide blood pressure readings.
In essence, it mimics the way traditional blood pressure monitors work. The difference is that it works from the wrist instead of the upper arm. So it is very similar to how Omron HeartGuide works. And not the same as the Samsung Galaxy Watch which attempts to estimate blood pressure from its optical heart rate sensor.
To take a measurement on the YHE, simply raise your wrist to heart level and tap a button. The cuff will automatically inflate and deflate, providing real-time blood pressure readings on your watch. The company says this is done with accuracy within 10mmHg.
The YHE BP Doctor Fit Gen 3 boasts a range of features beyond blood pressure monitoring. It includes a heart rate monitor for tracking cardiovascular health, an activity tracker to monitor steps, distance, and calories burned, and a sleep tracker to analyze sleep patterns. Additionally, it offers built-in GPS for tracking outdoor activities, a touch screen display for easy navigation, and a water-resistant design for everyday wear.
