Amazfit Bip 6 spotted in retail boxes as launch draws near
A short Reddit video has surfaced showing stacks of boxed Amazfit Bip 6 units, hinting that the official launch could be just days away. The device was first previewed by Zepp Health during an event in February, but this is the clearest sign yet that it’s about to hit store shelves.
The video clip itself is very brief. What it appears to show is a large shipment of what looks like retail-ready Bip 6 units. It’s likely this footage came from a retailer who has already received stock in anticipation of launch. That alone makes it worth paying attention to.
Zepp Health hasn’t officially confirmed a release date. But this kind of retail-level leak usually only happens when a launch is imminent. It suggests logistics are in motion — the product has been manufactured, packaged, and distributed to at least some partners.
Anticipated features
The Bip 6 was preview at an event back in February. The timepiece is anticipated to feature a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 380 x 450 pixels and brightness up to 2,000 nits. Health tracking capabilities are expected to be enhanced with the BioTracker Dual-Light 5PD heart rate sensor, offering monitoring of heart rate, SpO₂ levels, stress, and HRV. The smartwatch is also set to include over 140 workout modes, built-in GPS, offline navigation, and the Zepp Flow voice assistant.

Battery life is projected at up to two weeks under typical use, supported by a 340 mAh battery. The device is also reported to have a 5 ATM water resistance rating and an aluminum alloy frame, contributing to a lightweight design.
What we don’t know is if it will have offline storage for music. NFC for contactless payments has also not been confirmed.
As far as pricing, the Bip 6 will probably stick to the usual Bip formula — decent features without a steep price tag. We are expecting something between $80 and $100.
It is unclear at the moment whether the Bip 6 will get a global launch or if it’s going to be a staggered rollout. Just as a reminder, the last Amazfit release — the Active 2 — showed up in the US first. Europe had to wait a bit, and the premium version still hasn’t landed there.
