First Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro images show a very familiar design
Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro has now appeared in its first leaked product images, and the design looks very close to its predecessor. The bigger clues are elsewhere, with a new ceramic edition, four colour options and a possible GNSS upgrade for runners.
A very familiar looking tracker
The images show the same broad rectangular tracker shape Xiaomi used last year, with rounded corners, a slim body and a strap design that does not appear to move far from the current Pro model. That is not a bad thing, as the 9 Pro already had a fairly polished look, but anyone expecting a visible redesign may need to keep expectations in check.
That lines up with the leaked specification sheet. The Band 10 Pro is said to use the same 1.74 inch AMOLED display size as the current Smart Band 9 Pro. The listing also repeats the same headline battery claim, with up to 21 days of use, plus around 7 days when Always-On Display mode stays active. That makes this feel less like a visual reset and more like a continuation of the same Pro design.
Ceramic looks like the main design change
The most obvious exterior change is the new ceramic edition. That detail has appeared in earlier leak chatter and now seems to be one of the more interesting points around the Band 10 Pro. It gives Xiaomi a slightly more premium angle without changing the basic shape of the device.
The leaked colour options are Pink, Black, White and Silver. That suggests Xiaomi may be spreading the model across both sportier and more lifestyle-focused finishes. The ceramic version will likely be the one to watch, as it could give the Pro line a more polished feel than the standard aluminium or plastic-heavy approach usually seen in this category.
Even so, the images do not point to a major case redesign. The screen size appears unchanged and the overall layout stays very close to the predecessor. The ceramic finish may be more about materials and feel than a new visual identity.
Dual-band GNSS may be the real upgrade
The most interesting spec is the claimed dual-band, five-system GNSS chip. That would be a proper upgrade if confirmed, because the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro uses single-band GNSS. For runners and cyclists, this could be the main reason to pay attention.
Dual-band GNSS can improve positioning in tricky areas, especially around tall buildings, trees and dense urban routes. It does not guarantee perfect tracking, because antenna design and software tuning still play a big role, but it gives the device better hardware to work with.
Most of the spec sheet still feels familiar
Outside GNSS and the ceramic option, the leaked details do not reveal much that clearly improves on the Smart Band 9 Pro. The 1.74 inch AMOLED display, up to 21 days of battery life, 7 days in AOD mode and 5ATM water resistance all sit in familiar territory.
That does not mean there will be nothing else new. Retail listings often show only the easy headline specs and leave out sensor changes, software tweaks, display brightness or training features. Xiaomi could still have changes in the app experience, health tracking algorithms or workout tools that have not surfaced yet.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro launch is expected later this month, so the missing details should not stay missing for long. But right now, this looks like an iterative update rather than a major rethink.
