Amazfit A2564 surfaces as Falcon 2 & Cheetah 2 Pro rumours linger

A new Amazfit smartwatch with model number A2564 has passed FCC SAR testing with a 540mAh battery and standard WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The filing arrives alongside earlier leaks pointing to a Falcon 2 and a Cheetah 2 Pro, adding another piece to a lineup that is slowly coming into view.

The documentation confirms this is a production unit with hardware and software both at version 1.0. That usually means development is complete and the device is moving through final regulatory steps before launch.

There is also a confidentiality clause attached to the filing. External photos and certain key details are not expected to become public for up to six months. So it might be a while before we actually see this watch.

The battery stands out

The most telling specification in the report is the 540mAh battery. That places this watch toward the upper end of Amazfit’s range in terms of capacity.

Devices built for lightweight use, such as the Cheetah line, tend to prioritise a slimmer profile and lower weight. Larger batteries usually come with a different trade-off, leaning more toward endurance and a slightly more substantial build.

The original Amazfit Falcon has a 500 mAh battery. The Cheetah Pro a 440 mAh battery. Which makes the first the more likely candidate.

How it connects to earlier leaks

The timing of this filing stands out as it comes after earlier references to both a Falcon 2 and a Cheetah 2 Pro. We came across both names in the Zepp Health app APK, while the Cheetah 2 Pro has also surfaced in an Instagram post that gives an actual pic of the device.

At this stage, there is no direct confirmation that A2564 corresponds to either of those names. But the characteristics seen here fit more naturally with a watch that prioritises battery life and premium casing quality rather than minimal weight.

The Cheetah 2 Pro leak still points toward a running focused watch. That typically means a lighter design and a form factor built for comfort during longer sessions.

A2564 does not immediately read like that type of device based on battery size alone. That suggests it is more likely a different model rather than a direct successor in the Cheetah line, although nothing is confirmed at this stage.

As usual with this type of filing, most of the details that matter most are still missing. There is no information on sensors, display or new features.

A broader lineup taking shape

What is becoming clear is that Zepp Health is heading for a busy year. In fact, we are expecting a total of nine or ten – as based on their earnings call Q&A.

The earlier leaks around Falcon 2 and Cheetah 2 Pro appear to sit in the near term. Beyond that, other products are already on the horizon. These include Helio Band 2 and T-Rex 4, both expected to arrive in the second half of the year.
