Amazfit Active 3 Premium gets new training plans and Explore Nearby

Amazfit Active 3 Premium is getting a new software update with a 15.16MB download. The update focuses on training plans, calendar visibility, navigation tools and a cleaner interface.

Training plans get more useful

The biggest change is support for more official training plans, along with the ability to import third-party plans. That should make the Active 3 Premium a bit easier to use for structured running and fitness work, especially for people who do not want to build every session manually inside the app.

The update also adds training calendar cards. Which means recent plans can now appear directly in the calendar. This should make the whole setup feel less buried.

The change also fits with Zepp Health’s wider push to make its watches feel more capable as training devices. The Active 3 Premium already picked up attention because of its higher-end feature set for the price. Better training plan support gives it a more practical angle.

Navigation gets a new option

Beyond that, the update adds an “Explore Nearby” function under navigation. According to the changelog, this supports one-click return-to-start planning during exercise.

That could be useful for outdoor runs, walks and casual exploring, particularly if you tend to head out without planning a route first. It does not turn the Active 3 Premium into a full outdoor mapping watch, but it does give users another safety net when exercising away from familiar streets.

The interface gets cleaned up

Zepp Health has also reworked parts of the launcher and control centre. The changelog says this should make operation and display more convenient and intuitive, which usually means fewer taps or a clearer layout.

Exercise reminders have also been reorganised, with a cleaner data layout inside the exercise interface. The rest of the update is rounded off with bug fixes and feature optimisations.

The changelog is not huge, but it is a useful one. Zepp Health has clearly put some attention into the training side of the watch. As usual, the update may roll out gradually depending on region and device settings, so it may not appear for everyone at the same time.
