Ringly launches new collection of affordable smart bracelets

Ringly has teamed up with US retail giant Target to bring to market a new collection of smart bracelets that promise to help you lead a healthy and more balanced lifestyle. Dubbed Ringly Go, they come with a new look, but all the same features.

The new product line retails at $125, so is more affordable than Ringly’s other rings and bracelets. There are a variety of models to choose from all of which come either in 14k gold plating or a polished stainless steel finish. The new model puts a large stone in the middle of a leather strap, instead of a large gem like most of the predecessor bracelets.

Just last month, Ringly launched its Spring smart jewelry range, with all pieces priced at $165. These also came in several different options including a variety of semi-precious gemstones and some with gold and silver plating.

The company is a pioneer in the smart jewelry space. Its first generation range was fashionable and worked very well. Ringly has built on this and added fitness tracking features to the second generation rings and bracelets. This includes steps taken, distance traveled and calories burned.

“Women deserve technology that help them live healthy, balanced lives without sacrificing style or comfort. The days of clunky fitness trackers are behind us,” Ringly CEO and founder Christina d’Avignon said.

“With style and function being paramount, we are constantly looking at innovative and interactive ways to further our initial mission — to help make women’s lives easier — across all categories.”

There is no obvious clue that the wearable differs from traditional jewelry. Crafted with semi-precious gemstones and a beautifully designed setting, the ring connects to your phone and discreetly buzzes and lights up when you receive a notification.

You control what comes through and for added convenience you can even customize your notifications with four different vibration patterns and five light colors. In addition to standard smartphone messages, Ringly allows notifications from over 100 popular productivity, wellness and messaging apps. This means you can keep your phone tucked away, confident that you will not be missing any important messages.

You can view the new collection on ringly.com. Some of the pieces are also available on Target.
