Diesel On Full Guard smartwatch is now available for pre-sale
Announced at Baselworld earlier this year, the first Diesel On Full Guard touchscreen smartwatch is now available for pre-sale at Macy’s department store and at diesel.com.
The full collection of watches is set to debut on September 25th. Retailing at $325, the first to go on sale is a model with a black case and a brown leather strap.
“We worked on interpreting the smartwatch world with a Diesel attitude, adding technology to the classic watch to create a new, digital accessory,” creative director of Diesel Licenses Andrea Rosso said earlier this year.
“The idea is to have many different watches in one to match the mood of every moment of the day—always with an ironic touch.”

Running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, the 48mm touchscreen smartwatch comes with seven customisable dial options, each of which can be modified with hundreds of different options. The timepiece is all about style and even offers some cool visual effects such as the appearance of a cracked screen when you receive a notification or weather filters that change with the climate.
In terms of activity tracking you’ll get info on steps, calories, pace, distance and more. Because it runs on Android Wear 2.0 you can also enjoy the Google Fit workout experience. You’ll be able to stream music right from your wrist and Google Assistant is available to make your life a little bit easier.
Don’t worry about charging the timepiece. It operates on a replaceable a coin cell battery that lasts up to six months. The IP67 water resistance means it will be ok to survive sweat and the occasional splash.
Diesel On Full Guard comes in a single design, but it will be sold with with five different color options for its strap. There will be two with black leather bands, one with a gold metal band, and one with a black metal band.
This is not Diesel’s first connected watch. Last year it released a line of hybrid smartwatches that do activity tracking.
