Tory Burch jumps on the wearables bandwagon with a line of hybrids
Just in time for the holiday season, fashion designer Tory Burch has jumped on the wearables bandwagon with its first ever smartwatch line.

The timepieces are inspired by Burch’s popular Collins watch. Just like all hybrids, these are classic looking timepieces that combine the look and functionality of a traditional watch with abilities that are evident in today’s smartwatches.
But don’t expect a heart rate monitor or any advanced vitals statistics. This is more about style. Designed with leather straps or in stainless steel, the hybrids pair via Bluetooth with both Android and iPhones to offer basic activity tracking, notifications, sleep tracking, and linking ability to other apps. You can also take photos remotely on your smartphone, control your music and set personal goals.
Falling under the Fossil Group umbrella, Tory Burch is not the first fashion designer to enter the smartwatch space and it certainly won’t be the last. It joins other brands in the Group such as Mark Jacobs and Kate Spade in offering elegant ways to stay connected.

The water-resistant timepiece (3 ATM) comes in four distinct styles. It operates on a coin cell battery which will keep it going for up to 4 months.
Torytrack hybrid can be picked up at Tory Burch boutiques and in department stores, or on-line on toryburch.com. Prices range from $250 to $295.
