The appropriately named Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Golf Edition is currently only available to buy South Korea, but should be in stock in the US and the United Kingdom shortly. As its name implies, this one offers a few software features for those that like to play golf.

This includes pre-installed tools for golf shot distance tracking. Plus the Smart Caddie app contains detailed information on more than 40,000 golf courses around the world.

The Golf model is available to buy in a 44mm Aqua Black and a 40mm Pink Gold version. The larger variant sells for around $320, the smaller one around $295. Both come with a rubber strap that features a breathable, perforated design and solid waterproofing.

This is not the first time Samsung has launched a special golf variant of an existing watch. It had previously done this for its Samsung Galaxy Watch. Just like now, the only difference between that one and the original is in the software.

In its bid to take on the Apple Watch, Samsung has also launched a Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE Aluminum edition. The pricing is the same as the Golf model, as are the countries it is launching in. Samsung has said, though, the LTE Aluminium model will be also sold in some other European and Asian countries.

Once again we see the 44mm and 40mm models. Both are available in a choice between Aqua Black, Cloud Silver and Pink Gold.

This iteration is aimed at younger folks. Its headline feature is that users are able to make calls and send texts without being tethered to a smartphone.
