About a month ago GTS 4 Mini was added to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) database. Now Zepp Health has made the device official.
We are expecting the rest of the Amazfit GT 4 Series to drop in Q3, this year. This was confirmed at Zepp Health’s May 2022 investor call. The speaker made a mention of “multi-dimensional” enhancements as far as health functionality. Which will probably come courtesy of Huami’s next-generation Bio Tracker optical sensor.
The Amazfit GT 4 series consists of GTS 4 and GTR 4. What iterations we’ll get besides these basics ones remains to be seen. But an additional one that has now seen the light of day is the GTS 4 Mini. This is an ultra-slim and super-light variant of the watch.
GTS 4 Mini, what’s new?
There was no GTS 3 Mini last year but we did get a GTS 2 Mini a while back. That one came with smaller dimensions and it lacked certain functions such as music storage. But it came at a much lower price making the device a bargain.
GTS 4 Mini packs a 1.65 inch HD display and the same overall look as its 2020 predecessor. That one has a 1.55 inch display so the new version is a bit of an upgrade on that count.
Beyond that you get 5 ATM water-resistance and built-in support for five satellite positioning systems. This is coupled with a heart rate monitor, stress tracker, SpO2 sensor and support for more than 120 sports modes. A few of these are with auto-recognition. Performance metrics include Vo2Max, full recovery time, training load and training effect.

Other abilities include monitoring sleep patterns and breathing quality at night. GTS 4 Mini also has a menstrual cycle tracker and PAI health assessment system. The smartphone app for the later is going to be discontinued by PAI Health from the end of this month but Zepp Health plans to continue to provide these types of measurements.
As far as battery life, this comes in at 15 days between charges. Which is pretty good for such a slim and sleek device. The GTS 4 Mini is only 9.1mm thick and weights a mere 19 grams. Another function worth mentioning is built-in Alexa support.
The smartwatch is available in Mint Blue, Flamingo Pink, Midnight Black, and Moonlight White colours. It costs $119.99 on the Amazfit website and can also be picked up on Amazon (check price).
