For starters, the update introduces a frisbee workout algorithm, expanding the band’s fitness tracking capabilities to include this popular outdoor activity. For those who enjoy interactive experiences, the addition of haptic feedback for somatosensory games elevates the fun factor, making workouts more engaging. Users can also personalize their bands with two new watch faces, adding a touch of individuality to their daily wear.

A new Vitality widget has been added, providing users with quick access to their health and fitness data. For those who prioritize uninterrupted sleep, the sleep Do Not Disturb (DND) feature is a welcome addition. It ensures that notifications don’t disturb your rest. The update also brings enhanced system stability and optimized Mi Fitness sync logic, ensuring smoother operation and data synchronization.

Another practical feature is the ability to display charging records in the app, making it easier to track the device’s charging history. Alongside these new features, the update addresses and fixes other known bugs, further refining the user experience.

After its initial release in China, hints that it should launch internationally soon comes from regulatory bodies in Malaysia, Singapore, and the UAE. This move suggests a release, potentially within weeks.

The Pro version stands out with its smartwatch-like design, a large 1.74-inch AMOLED display, and enhanced health and fitness tracking features, including GPS support. Priced around $62 to $70 in China, it is expected to be around $90 when it hits the global market.
