What’s new?

Zepp OS 3.5 promises a refreshed user interface and design elements throughout the watch for a more modern and intuitive experience. Outdoor adventurers, in particular, will appreciate the enhanced navigation features. The update introduces detailed contour line maps, providing a more comprehensive view of the terrain for hikers and trail runners. Additionally, turn-by-turn reminders for track navigation will help users stay on course during workouts and outdoor activities.

Health and fitness tracking is another focus of Zepp OS 3.5. The update introduces support for the Readiness metric, providing users with insights into their body’s readiness for exercise. This data can help users optimize their training schedules and reduce the risk of injury.

Furthermore, a downloadable watch app will enable users to monitor their heart rate variability (HRV), a key indicator of overall health and fitness. This is an important addition as HRV is often used as a gauge of your recovery status. Zepp Coach recommendations will also be enhanced, leveraging readiness data to provide more personalized fitness guidance.

Beta testing can be risky business

While Zepp Health is eager to get Zepp OS 3.5 into the hands of users, it’s important to note that this is a beta version. As such, users may encounter bugs, glitches, or other issues. Having said that, the risks are reduced here as the company has already rolled out the software to a number of other watches.

We are therefore guessing, the wait for the public release of the software should not be long. Probably a few weeks or a month. Zepp Health encourages users testing out the Beta version to report any problems they encounter through the app’s user feedback section.
