The worst-kept secret: Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 range specs leaked

In what is turning out to be the worst-kept secret, the full specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 range have been leaked. Not only do we have detailed images of the new devices, but now, nothing is left to the imagination.

A mix of features

The leak, courtesy of Dealabs, reveals comprehensive details for both the Galaxy Watch 7 and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. The first will come in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm – with a 4G variant available. The Ultra model, on the other hand, will only be offered in a single 47mm size. But this one will come in both Bluetooth and 4G versions.

One of the standout features across the range is the use of sapphire crystal for the front display. This should help with durability. The Ultra model takes things a step further with a titanium case, while the standard Watch 7 keeps things more basic with aluminum armor.

Both models will be powered by the Exynos W1000 processor and run on One UI Watch 6.0. They’ll also feature 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample space for apps and data.

The Ultra model boasts a larger 590 mAh battery. The standard Watch 7 offers 300 mAh for the 40mm version and 425 mAh for the 44mm variant. All models come with a comprehensive suite of sensors, including GPS, heart rate monitoring, and temperature sensing.

In terms of durability, the Ultra model takes the lead with 10 ATM water resistance, compared to 5 ATM for the standard Watch 7. Both models offer IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certifications.
