Withings makes Scanwatch Nova Brilliant available for purchase
Withings has made available for purchase its latest hybrid smartwatch, the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant, bringing premium materials and refined functionality to users with smaller wrists. The device was first unveiled at IFA Berlin in September.
The new timepiece features a compact 39mm case, making it more accessible to users who found previous models too large. So its great for those with small wrists. Building on the design heritage of the original ScanWatch Nova, this latest iteration incorporates a titanium bezel and ultra-durable sapphire glass, available in both gold and silver finishes.
The 5-link bracelet deserves special mention, as it represents a significant upgrade in both comfort and style. The bracelet’s design allows for precise size adjustments, ensuring a perfect fit while maintaining the watch’s elegant appearance. The combination of titanium silver and bicolor silver and gold options provides versatility for different style preferences and occasions.
Functionality-wise, the ScanWatch Nova Brilliant closely mirrors its sibling, the ScanWatch 2, offering comprehensive health monitoring capabilities. The watch incorporates advanced features including a temperature sensor and third-generation PPG sensor for enhanced health tracking accuracy. These sensors work in concert to provide detailed insights into the wearer’s well-being, from sleep patterns to heart rate variability.
The hybrid nature of the watch means users get the best of both worlds: traditional analog hands for time-telling, combined with a subtle digital display that shows health metrics and smartphone notifications. This approach allows for a more discrete and elegant appearance while maintaining smart functionality.
Battery life remains a highlight, with the watch capable of operating for multiple weeks on a single charge. This is a significant advantage over traditional smartwatches that require daily charging.

While the device may not target hardcore athletes, it includes sufficient fitness tracking capabilities for everyday exercise. The watch can automatically detect and track various activities, providing metrics like pace, distance, and calories burned. Water resistance makes it suitable for swimming and other water-based activities, adding to its versatility as a daily wear device.
The ScanWatch Nova Brilliant is available in several styles on the company’s website, including titanium silver and a distinctive bicolor silver and gold combination, paired with the sophisticated 5-link bracelet. The premium positioning is reflected in its pricing structure, with the device retailing at $599.95 in the US, €599.95 in the EU, and £549.95 in the UK.
