Withings has lifted the curtain on its latest health innovation, OMNIA, at CES 2025. This cutting-edge health system combines a sleek mirrored interface with advanced AI capabilities and a host of health sensors to deliver a truly immersive, interactive experience. If ever there were a device that felt like it belonged in a sci-fi universe, this is it.

For over a decade, the French-based company has been blending sleek design with serious tech, earning its spot as a pioneer in the wearable health space. From hybrid smartwatches to the best scales out there, blood pressure monitors, smart thermometers and more. If it feels like Withings has been designing the future of connected health, that’s because they have.

Building on its innovative streak, Withings is now attempting to break new ground with OMNIA. This is a health system that offers a full 360-degree view of wellness.

Withings OMNIA – the futuristic health mirror

Now it’s worth noting right at the outset that the product is currently in development. So this is not something you can run out and buy just yet. No word yet on when it will we will get retail availability, probably it will take at least another year or so. But that’s just a guess. Also, looking at other smart mirror offerings on the market, we imagine this might have a 4 figure price-tag attached to it!

As far as the product itself, picture a polished mirror in your home. But instead of just reflecting your face, it reflects your entire health.

The gadget spits out daily in-depth health scans by integrating data from Withings’ range of devices, including smartwatches, scales, blood pressure monitors, sleep trackers, and even mattress and bathroom sensors. At its core is a mirrored interface that displays this information visually and intuitively. The device features a 3D body model, and a connected base filled to the brim with advanced health sensors.

According to the press release, OMNIA monitors heart health with tools like ECG, AFib detection, overnight heart rate, vascular age, and blood pressure. For body composition, OMNIA analyzes metrics such as muscle-to-fat ratio, visceral fat, and weight trends. Activity tracking includes step counts, calorie burn, VO2 max, workout recovery, and body temperature variations. Sleep quality is assessed through apnea detection, interruptions, recovery, and sleep stages. Meanwhile nutrition analysis covers pH levels, ketone trends, specific gravity, and vitamin C levels. Of course, some of these vitals metrics will be captured by other devices in the Withings ecosystem, not by the mirror itself.

Another feature of OMNIA is its AI Vocal Companion. This assistant offers real-time feedback. And yes, you will be able to talk to the mirror, ask questions and get answers. The device also integrates telemedicine, allowing users to consult healthcare professionals virtually for assessments or guidance.

The future of health

It might feel futuristic now, but devices like this could easily become a household staple in just a few short years. By connecting aspects like sleep, nutrition, and activity, they have the potential to show users how small changes in one area can ripple into improvements across others. Plus they have the potential to spot illnesses and abnormalities at an early stage.
