Smart Band 10 Pro now officially teased by Xiaomi

Xiaomi has now started officially teasing the Smart Band 10 Pro, adding more weight to earlier leaks that pointed to an imminent launch. The company has confirmed the fitness tracker will arrive later this month, with the reveal expected alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max.

The first teaser image does not radically change what we already knew. But it does confirm that Xiaomi is sticking with the rectangular smartwatch-style form factor introduced in recent generations. The company also appears keen to push a more premium look this time around.

Xiaomi leans into a thinner and lighter design

The teaser specifically highlights a slim and lightweight build. Xiaomi describes the Smart Band 10 Pro as featuring a thin aluminium alloy body, while also pointing to long battery life of up to 21 days.

That battery figure matches earlier retail leaks, which suggested Xiaomi was focusing more on refinement than dramatic hardware changes. The teaser image itself also lines up closely with previously leaked renders.

One noticeable detail is the Milanese-style metal strap shown in the promotional material. Xiaomi often uses premium straps for marketing renders, but the overall presentation suggests the company wants the Smart Band 10 Pro to feel closer to an entry-level smartwatch than a traditional budget fitness tracker.

The display bezels also appear fairly slim in the teaser. Although Xiaomi has not yet confirmed screen size or brightness figures. We expect the device to use a 1.74 inch AMOLED.

Dual-band GNSS still looks like the key upgrade

Other info from earlier leaks suggests the Smart Band 10 Pro may gain dual-band GNSS support. If accurate, that could end up being the most meaningful hardware improvement in the entire package.

For fitness tracking, dual-band positioning tends to improve GPS reliability in difficult environments such as cities, forests and areas with tall buildings. That matters more than cosmetic tweaks for runners and cyclists who actually rely on outdoor tracking data.

The teaser itself focuses mostly on design rather than fitness features. That means Xiaomi is saving some of the technical details for the full launch event later this month. So there might be a surprise or two in store.

Expect the device to launch by the end of May. No more relying on leaks. The company has now started building momentum with official promotional material.
