Fitbit

Fitbit is a health and fitness wearable brand within Google, known for activity trackers, fitness trackers and smartwatches. Founded by James Park and Eric Friedman in 2007, Fitbit helped popularise consumer activity tracking and later expanded into connected health features including heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking and smartwatches. Google completed its acquisition of Fitbit in January 2021. In 2026, the Fitbit app transitioned into the redesigned Google Health app. Founded in 2007.
