Hollywog launches drug free solution for dealing with back pain

Hollywog has announced the launch of their new WiTouchPro Bluetooth TENS Therapy for back pain.

This is a condition that affects many adults and is a common reason for seeking medical advice. In the United States, opioid prescription for back pain has increased, and opioids are now the most commonly prescribed drug class. But people are re-evaluating how to deal with such conditions. There is growing awareness of addiction to opioids and the risks posed by excessive use.

The FDA approved WiTouch Pro TENS Therapy is a totally drug free alternative. The gadget attaches to your back without wires or leads for hours of pain relief. Worn under your clothing, it delivers small electrical pulses to block the body’s pain signals and release endorphins, thereby reducing the need to take pain medication.

“This launch signals an important innovation for Hollywog, where our new patented pain management solution, the WiTouch®Pro, offers a drug-free digitally-enabled alternative to block pain and keep moving,” said Chuck Thomas, CEO of Hollywog LLC.

“People are looking for a discrete solution that is personalized for their pain, and with this launch we deliver on that need.”

You can even control the device through your smartphone and choose between four unique pain relief programs and fifteen intensity levels.

“We want people to receive powerful and effective pain relief that fits discretely into normal daily activities without the side effects of drugs,” Mr. Thomas added.

“Going forward, we recognize the increasing role that connected devices and data analytics will play to help people suffering with pain. Our motto is Keep MovingTM and we continue to do just that.”

If you suffer from back pain and are looking for a drug-free alternative to help you make it through the day, this may be an option worth considering. The Tennessee-based company says its gadget delivers the same prescription strength stimulation therapy used by doctors. Priced at $49.95, it is available on www.hollywog.com or Amazon.

As you would expect, there are other similar options out there. One of them is Quell which taps into your body’s natural pain control system to block pain signals. The company ran a successful Indiegogo campaign which closed in April last year having raised over $400,000. NeuroMetrix says that Quell is capable of relieving different types of chronic aches, including back pain, arthritis pain, nerve pain, leg and foot pain, among others.

  • The drug epidemic started a long time ago and with the help of doctors and pain clinics; having been a registered nurse and someone who has had chronic back pain related to an injury I have seen several well known doctors who specialize in back pain and back surgery; I have refused back surgery because I knew that this was an option that doctors threw at patients offering pain relief; Having worked with this specific type of patients and knowing friends who had the surgery I knew that the surgery was a life changing event and not in a good way;after the surgery and no relief from back pain the opioids enter the picture and for some who do not want to work well they get disability and then the doctor shopping begins; at l have used tens units including one similar to the Hollywog and physical therapy and dry needling and have a home stretching and exercise rounrine; these routes have helped greatly, the Hollywog and those similar are the way to go being that you can get pain releifwhike walking or doing chores; insurance companies and cmc need to start offering to pay for these versus pain medications ; Thanks.
