Dreamlight, create an undisturbed restful experience with light and ambient sounds
One of the more interesting gadgets demoed at CES 2018 is the $100 Dreamlight sleep mask. It emits sleep-inducing light and ambient sounds, and tracks your kip time.
This is a larger sleep mask than we’re used to seeing, which has the benefit of removing pressure from sensitive areas of the face. It also helps to fully eliminate any light leakage.
But Dreamlight is not your run-of-the-mill sleep mask. The high-tech gizmo uses a set of embedded LED lights to emit an orange color which, the company says, has been proven to help people fall asleep more quickly. Dreamlight also works as an alarm clock. It does this by emitting a wake-inducing green light, and it does so at the best moment of the sleep cycle.
During the night, the gadget provides ambient sounds of nature to help you fall and stay in deep sleep. Getting deeper REM sleep combats stress and fatigue. You can use the associated app or quickstart control pannel to select from personalized audio, white noise and brainwave regulating sounds.

Aside from being a comfortable sleeping mask, Dreamlight monitors your sleep schedule with the cross-platform Dreamlight app. You’ll get info on heart rate, sleep time and more. The gadget runs for up to eight hours between charges and its portable so you can take it with you when you travel.
The startup has turned to crowdfunding to raise funds to develop the gadget. Look for it on Indiegogo, starting January 19th, 2018.
