Tory Burch launches Classic Gigi, its first touchscreen smartwatch
Tory Burch has branched out into fully-fledged smartwatch territory with a Wear OS timepiece called the Classic Gigi. It combines the classic elegance of an analog watch, with world-class technology.

Gone are the days when smartwatches were confined to blocky looking devices built for fitness buffs and IT geeks. There is now a healthy choice of wearables that combine practicality and functionality, but not at the sacrifice of fashion.
The latest entry in this space is the Classic Gigi Touchscreen Smartwatch. It comes from Fashion Lifestyle brand Tory Burch, a part of Fossil Group.
This fashion-first timepiece comes inspired by the Gigi—an iconic, classic design that is one of the brand’s bestselling styles. It sports a 7mm thick stainless steel case that measures 40mm by 48mm and has an octagon-shaped crown attached. The 1.19 inch full-color display comes with 390 x 390 pixel resolution and 328 ppi.
The $395 device is made in three different finishes including black stainless steel and polished versions in gold or silver-tone. Interchangeable rubber, grosgrain and leather strap options are also available. Users can choose from a total of eight Tory Burch watch faces, with various different colors for each one.
But its not all about looks. The device comes with features that include comprehensive fitness and heart rate tracking, 3 ATM water-resistance, NFC for payments, built-in GPS and more. You can view the full specs on this link. This is essentially the same Fossil Generation 4 technology we’ve seen on a number of devices in recent months. They all feature pretty much the same specs, but the design is different.
The watch is equipped with the latest Wear OS features including Google Assistant, health and fitness tracking, notifications (text, call and email), accessibility, music control, customizable dials and more. Powering everything is the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip and not the newly released 3100 processor.
Battery life is between 1 and 2 days. The watch comes with a magnetic charger which can refuel your device in about 2 hours.
