Amazfit GTS 4 Mini New: Unexpected variant appears in Brazilian listing
An unannounced variant of the Amazfit GTS 4 Mini, dubbed the GTS 4 Mini New, has been spotted on the Amazfit Brazilian Store on AliExpress.
The original GTS 4 Mini, launched in July 2022, already offered a noteworthy upgrade from its 2020 predecessor. It features a 1.65-inch HD display, 5 ATM water resistance, and support for five satellite positioning systems. The device includes a heart rate monitor, stress tracker, SpO2 sensor, and over 120 sports modes, some with auto-recognition. Advanced performance metrics such as VO2Max, full recovery time, training load, and training effect are also available.
Additional features of the GTS 4 Mini include sleep pattern and breathing quality monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, and the PAI health assessment system. Beyond that, the GTS 4 Mini boasts an impressive 15-day battery life, packaged in a slim 9.1mm thick body weighing only 19 grams. It also includes built-in Alexa support for added convenience.
Amazfit GTS 4 Mini New – what’s new?
Now, the newly spotted GTS 4 Mini New appears to offer some subtle yet notable upgrades. According to the Brazilian listing, the device maintains a design reminiscent of the GTS 3. It features a slightly larger 1.75-inch HD AMOLED display packing, 390 x 450 pixels, 341 ppi. The new variant also supports over 150 sports modes and includes a rotating crown for improved navigation. The latter is a nice addition.
The device is 3 grams heavier than its predecessor. But, at 8.8mm, it is slightly thinner.
Other improvements include an upgrade to the PPG 3.0 health sensor from the previous PPG 2.0, and an update to ZeppOS 3.0 from 2.0. However, the battery capacity has been adjusted from 270 mAh to 250 mAh, resulting in a slightly reduced but still respectable 12-day battery life between charges.

As of now, only this single listing has been identified, leaving uncertainty about whether the GTS 4 Mini New is a regional variant or a product that Zepp Health plans to officially announce in the coming weeks. The lack of official communication from the company adds an element of mystery to this unexpected addition to the Amazfit lineup.
While the changes may seem incremental, if the listing is accurate, they do show a natural progression of the line. And it seems Zepp Health updates the Mini edition every two years, which means 2024 would fit right into this schedule.
For now we await official confirmation or further details from Zepp Health. The company is planning to hold a launch event on the opening day of IFA – so it will surely have something new to show.
