Someone just posted Samsung’s unreleased Galaxy Watch 8 Classic on eBay
An unreleased Galaxy Watch 8 Classic has been listed for sale on eBay, offering a complete and surprisingly early look at the device – before Samsung’s official summer Unpacked event.
It’s always wise to approach these situations with a bit of skepticism, as convincing fakes from China are not uncommon. However, the details in this listing suggest we are looking at the genuine article. Someone appears to have acquired the upcoming smartwatch and decided to cash in before its formal debut. In the prices they broke Samsung’s carefully managed launch schedule.
An unexpected reveal
The eBay listing showcases the silver 46mm LTE version, identified by the model number SM-L505U. The design aligns almost perfectly with the renders that surfaced earlier this year from the reliable leaker OnLeaks. This consistency between the early renders and this real-world unit adds significant weight to its authenticity. The watch was even shown powered on and paired with a Galaxy smartphone, leaving little room for doubt.
The device maintains a familiar aesthetic, blending a circular watch face with a slightly squared-off body. A prominent crown sits between two physical buttons on the side, and speaker grilles are also visible. The images from the listing reveal that the watch ships with a standard leather strap, reinforcing its ‘Classic’ branding and premium positioning. The casing itself appears to be made from either steel or titanium.
Adding another layer of credibility, the packaging and the included charger were also photographed for the eBay listing. Small print on the box indicates the device was assembled in Vietnam, which is consistent with Samsung’s global manufacturing and supply chain operations. It’s a comprehensive leak that leaves very little to the imagination.

What the leak tells us
Based on the listing and previous rumors, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic seems to feature a 1.5-inch display. The battery capacity is expected to be around 435mAh, a detail that prospective buyers will be watching closely. Dimensions are rumored to be approximately 46 x 46.5 x 14.2mm. An interesting point is that Samsung might only release one size for the Classic model this year, a departure from its previous strategy of offering multiple size options to cater to different wrist sizes.
Internally, the smartwatch will almost certainly run on a new version of Samsung’s own Exynos processor, which is tailor-made for its wearable devices. We will have to wait for the official Unpacked event to get the full performance details and to see what new software features Samsung has developed for its latest generation of smartwatches.
